Seven Day Jones: A sound is growing through the vast plains of the American Midwest. A mixture of pop, dance and rock tunes are blowing across the northern prairies, preparing to establish Seven Day Jones as a serious player in the up-and-coming indie scene. Seven Day Jones is an indie four piece based out of Bismarck, ND. Lead and anchored by Chris Lippert (vocals/guitars), Jen Testroet (bass, keys, BGV), Paul Christensen (drums), and Cody Testroet (lead guitar, BGV). Seven Day Jones’ new album Love Reaching is slated to be released Spring of 2013. This is the band’s second release in the last 3 years and Love Reaching promises to be a solid entry to the music scene. Seven Day Jones was birthed out of a love for music and a passion to express the love of Jesus Christ. Love Reaching is the definition of the band’s goal. Seven Day Jones is a band, but more importantly they are a group of people with a purpose and a message for all to hear. “The message of Love Reaching, and our band overall is that God’s hand is extended toward mankind in love. He offers relationship, love, and acceptance.” The Band brings a quality expression to any community no matter the size, with the use of music, quality equipment, media and a message that is relevant to this generation. Chris Lippert, the bands frontman and founder feels that playing music and sharing his faith goes beyond a personal desire but more of a "life calling". Lippert's dynamic testimony from a life full of drugs and alcohol to a life changing encounter with Jesus Christ, is truly a testimony of the hand of God pulling a human life out of darkness and despair. Lippert and the rest of the group go forth with a heart to play music and demonstrate a lifestyle of "Sold out Christianity".
